Engage Baruch

Rabbi B has numerous topics in which he has mastery, passion and is ready to inspire you and your community. His primary focus, however, is his signature program, current podcast, and forth coming book, “The Defiant Spirit”.

The Defiant Spirit explores the foundational teachings of Dr. Viktor Frankl, Holocaust survivor and author of "Man's Search For Meaning," together with Kabbalistic texts, traditions and practices surrounding cultivating resilience, discovering meaning in struggle and suffering, and awakening he defiant power of the spirit to transform tragedy into triumph and darkness into light.

The Defiant Spirit

  • Cultivate Resilience

The work of Dr. Frankl and the example he and other Holocaust survivors remind us of the resilience that is possible when we awaken the defiant power of the human spirit.

  • The Innovative Spirit

    Within

  • The Defiant Spirit

The Jewish mission is to rise up in the face of suffering and defy life's darkness in whatever form it descends. This defiant spirit is the true gift of the Jews; a gift which needs to be returned to the center of our lives, our communities and shared with the world.

Engage Ariela

In her signature program, Divine Origins, Ariela explores the ancient Jewish values of Zachor - remembrance, Tikun - healing, and La'dor va'dor - legacy, re-imagined as a pathway for healing generational wounds and family traumas, a program to reawaken spirituality in our lives, and a platform to re-engage unaffiliated and "next-gen" Jews as we all re-inspire these timeless traditions and fulfill our eternal mission and illuminate the world.

Divine Origins

  • Zachor - Spiritual Connection

Zachor, remembrance, is the number one mitzvah in the Torah for a reason. It’s not just about memory, but connection. We are commanded to connect to our loved one's spirit and continue the relationship with our dead. We honor them by remembering them and continuing this connection in spirit.

  • Tikun - Generational Healing

The central work of Judaism is tikun, as in tikun olam, and from a kabbalistic perspective this means healing not only the world, but ourselves. Now more than ever we need to turn to Judaism as a practice of holistic healing and pathway to inner repair and true and enduring peace.

  • L'dor Va'dor - Inspiring Legacy

Finally, Judaism teaches that we are not here only for ourselves, but to continue the journey of those who came before us, heal what is broken, and pass down an inspired legacy. This is true 'dor va'dor and our responsibility to illuminate the darkness for generations to come.
