Welcome To Soul Centered
We are Ariela and Rabbi Dr. Baruch HaLevi “Rabbi B”, co-founders of Soul Centered.
Soul Centered is a center for spirituality, meaning and healing, grounded in Jewish values, rooted in Kabbalah, and dedicated to sharing the universal light of Judaism with the world. To that end, we have numerous ways we work with individuals, educate students, strengthen organizations and inspire communities -- from individual sessions to small groups, from community workshops to organizational trainings, from community lectures to synagogue retreats. We will inspire you with the light of Judaism and empower you to share this light with the world, with those who follow in your footsteps and for the generations that follow in your footsteps.

Rabbi B’s newest program, forthcoming book and current podcast, The Defiant Spirit, explores the secrets to Jewish survival and how we can utilize these secrets in our lives in the twenty-first century. The Defiant Spirt draws upon the teachings of Dr. Viktor Frankl, Holocaust survivor and author of "Man's Search For Meaning," together with Jewish texts, traditions, and examples of the defiant spirit in the Holocaust, throughout Jewish history, and within the modern miracle of Israel, the Innovation Nation. It is a conversation about reclaiming the essence of Judaism, the eternal mission of the Jewish people and the true gift of the Jews to the world - the defiant power of the spirit in transforming tragedy into triumph and darkness into light.
The Defiant Spirit
-
The Resilient Spirit
The Jewish people have not only survived unprecedented persecution, but thrived in the face of adversity due to their unparalleled resiliency. Now more than ever these qualities need to be studied, understood and embodied in our lives, within our communities and in our society.
-
The Innovative Spirit
The Jewish homeland has overcome the impossible, making deserts bloom thanks to our innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, a spirit grounded in ancient values and timeless traditions - which we can learn from and employ in all aspects of our indiviaul and collective lives.
-
The Defiant Spirit
The Jewish mission is to rise up in the face of suffering and defy life's darkness in whatever form it descends. This defiant spirit is the true gift of the Jews; a gift which needs to be returned to the center of our lives, our communities and shared with the world.

Divine Origins
-
Zachor - Spiritual Connection
Zachor, remembrance, is mentioned more times than any other mitzvah in the Torah. It’s not just about memory, but connection as e are commanded to connect to our loved one's spirit and continue to honor them by remembering and continuing to strengthen these bonds.
-
Tikun - Generational Healing
The central work of Judaism is tikun, as in tikun olam,. Fom a kabbalistic perspective this means healing not only the world, but ourselves. Now more than ever we need to turn to Judaism as a practice of holistic healing and pathway to inner repair and true and enduring peace.
-
L'dor Va'dor - Inspiring Legacy
Judaism teaches that we are not here only for ourselves, but to continue the journey of those who came before us, heal what is broken, and pass down an inspired legacy. This is true l'dor va'dor, generational responsibility - to illuminate the darkness for generations to come.
